We are to make a difference right here, right now, right where we live. God values people and so do we. That's why we are proactive in looking for opportunities to reach and build others – with special focus on the young.
School - SCOPE
We aim to see young people fully equipped to lead positive and purpose filled lives. That’s why we run scope – an outreach into local schools.
Youth - IMPACT
The Impact team has a passion for youth. We are committed to reaching and building young people. We have a fantastic team that works from Macquarie Centre two nights a week. We build connections with young people, assist them with challenges they may be facing and offer them hope. We see young people come to faith, and lives radically changed.
Community
Christian City Church Ryde has various community initiatives that care for our local community. All of our initiatives are designed to meet real and practical needs in the community.
Some of these initiatives are:
• We provide a counseling and referral service
• We celebrate Christmas with our local community by providing a free Christmas Day Lunch for all
• Each month we provide practical and fun sessions for young mothers that deals directly with relevant issues
• Life Matters training courses run throughout the year and are designed to train people in life skills. Courses include “Winning Communication”, “Sleeping Well” and “Health Matters”.
